Plastic Syringes

Plastic Syringes

Plastic syringes serve a broad range of laboratory functions from sample loading and solvent delivery through syringe filter processing and manual SPE extraction, and their construction quality directly affects the accuracy and reproducibility of every volume dispensed. Plunger seal integrity determines whether a syringe draws and delivers the stated volume without bypass leakage, barrel graduation accuracy controls how reliably a volume can be measured during manual dispensing, and tip compatibility with Luer-lock and Luer-slip fittings determines whether the syringe integrates cleanly with the downstream filtration, transfer, or injection hardware in use. For syringe filter applications, barrel volume must be appropriately matched to the sample volume being processed to maintain adequate back-pressure control throughout the filtration step.

Ibis Scientific supplies disposable plastic syringes in standard volumes from 1 mL through 60 mL in Luer-lock and Luer-slip tip formats, sterile and non-sterile configurations, suited to syringe filtration, manual SPE loading, reagent dispensing, and general laboratory liquid transfer applications.
