Returns & Refund Policy

Return Eligibility

Most new, unopened items may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund. To be eligible, items must be in their original, unaltered condition with original packaging intact.

  • Returns requested within 30 days of delivery are subject to a 20% restocking fee
  • We do not accept returns on items older than 30 days from the delivery date
  • Items that have been opened, used, or damaged after receipt are not eligible for return
Dropship & Special-Order Items: Products shipped directly from a manufacturer or ordered specifically for your lab may not be eligible for return. Contact us before ordering if you have questions about a specific item's return eligibility.

Incorrect or Defective Items

If you received an incorrect item or a product that arrived damaged or defective, we will cover return shipping costs and issue a full refund or replacement at no charge.

Please contact us within 5 business days of delivery to report an issue. Include your order number, a description of the problem, and photos if applicable.

How to Initiate a Return

All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before sending items back. Returns received without an RMA number may be refused or delayed.

  • Contact us at sales@ibisscientific.com or (855) 390-4202
  • Provide your sales order number and the item(s) you wish to return
  • We will issue an RMA number and return instructions within one business day
  • Package items securely and include the RMA number on the outside of the package

Refund Timeline

Once your return is on its way, here is what to expect:

Transit to Ibis: Up to 5 business days depending on your location and carrier

Return Processing: 3–5 business days after we receive your return

Refund to Your Account: Up to 10 business days for the credit to clear, depending on your payment method and bank

Total estimated time: Most customers receive their refund within 1–2 weeks of shipping the return. Refunds processed through our website may take up to 10 business days to clear from a pending state per our merchant services policy.

Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled at no charge if the request is made before the order ships. Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled and must go through the standard return process.
